ABOUT BROTHER OSCAR NEELY

Vision Statement

"I have given over forty years of my life to Kappa Alpha Psi, not for recognition, but because I believe in what this Fraternity can do for young men and for our communities. The Southeastern Province Guide Right Program has been recognized as the premier program in all of Kappa Alpha Psi, and I intend to build on that legacy. I am running because I know what is possible when we are unified, intentional, and fully committed to our purpose. This province has always been a standard. I want to help us raise it even higher."

— Brother Oscar R. Neely

PLATFORM AND PRIORITIES

Priority 1:

Strengthening the Bond of Brotherhood

MEMBERSHIP & ENGAGEMENT

For more than four decades, Brother Neely has embodied the Bond, not as a slogan, but as a daily way of life. He has served as Polemarch, Vice Polemarch, Board member, and chapter officer, forging relationships that span generations. As Senior Province Vice Polemarch, he will leverage that experience to champion cross-chapter engagement, strengthen alumni–undergraduate partnerships, and cultivate a culture of mutual accountability that fortifies every chapter in the Southeastern Province.

Priority 2:

Elevating Our Young Men

UNDERGRADUATE CHAPTER DEVELOPMENT

Brother Neely has devoted his life to developing young people, from the basketball court to the Kappa League. As Inaugural Chairman of the National Kappa League Conference and Chairman of the National Kappa League Leadership Conference at the Philadelphia Grand Chapter Meeting, he has helped build a lasting infrastructure for undergraduate excellence at the highest level. As Senior Province Vice Polemarch, he will bring that same unwavering commitment directly to our undergraduate chapters, offering mentorship, resources, and leadership training that prepare young Brothers not only for fraternity, but for life.

Priority 3:

Guide Right - Our Sacred Promise to the Next Generation

Community Service & Guide Right

Guide Right is not a committee; it is the heartbeat of our Fraternity’s purpose. For 16 years, Brother Neely has served as Chairman of the Southeastern Province Guide Right Commission, building a program recognized as the most recognized in all of Kappa Alpha Psi. For more than a decade, he also served as Vice Chairman of the National Guide Right Commission, shaping our national outreach. This is not work he is learning; it is work he has mastered. Now, he will apply that mastery to elevate our province’s community impact to even greater heights.
